Troy is a pair of related sans and serif titling fonts. Each version is available in a single weight. The fonts’ lowercase letters all take the form of small capitals. Particularly the serif font – simply called Troy – is reminiscent of inscriptional letterforms. This tip of the hat to the very origins of our Roman capital letters gives the typeface an immediate feeling of formality and solemnity. Troy Sans, while sharing Troy’s proportions, feels more contemporary – although its letters would not be out of place on an inscription, either. Each of the fonts contain several alternate letterforms. In Troy, some of the alternate letters contain a mystical feeling; in Troy Sans, the same alternates look almost medieval, particularly ‘A’, ‘E’, ‘G’, ‘a’, ‘e’, and ‘g’. Other alternate characters are more sober versions of the default letterforms: in their default state, for instance, the ‘O’, ‘Q’, ‘o’, and ‘q’ each have a dot inside of their counters. The alternate versions of those letters are dotless. There are three versions of the ampersand in each font, too, as well as eighteen ligatures. Included among those are ligatures like ‘LI’ and ‘CO’, where the second letter is cradled inside of the counter of the first, as well as doubled letters like ‘NN’, ‘OO’, and ‘TT’ that were found in Ancient Roman inscriptions. The Troy fonts were designed by Ilya Naumoff, a graphic and typeface designer in Paris.

Rothek is a geometric sans serif type family with a strong and unique character. It comes in 20 weights — 10 uprights and 10 italics — and is a perfect tool for any designer who needs a versatile font for a variety of projects. While retaining its uniqueness and whimsicality, Rothek is highly legible even at smaller weights, which makes it a perfect fit for app and web design. But what’s really great about Rothek is its OpenType features, which make it really stand out. Not only does it know how to do fractions, but it also does subscript and superscript; it’s equipped with case-sensitive punctuation, which adjusts the height of your parentheses, hyphens (and many more) to the height of your letters. But there’s still more: Rothek is loaded with various figures — from default proportional numerals to oldstyle figures, tabular figures and tabular oldstyle figures. As for language support, there’s plenty. Rothek is fluent in all European languages, as well as Vietnamese and Pinyin. On top of that there’s Adobe Extended Cyrillic set for most Slavic languages. As a cherry on top, there are stylistic alternatives for selected glyphs both in Latin and Cyrillic layouts and lots of extra symbols to work and experiment with. With 761 glyphs in each style, Rothek is a perfect workhorse font for those who always wanted a modern sans serif font with a strong character.

Long passages of text set in the typeface are comfortable to read. Passenger Sans’s fonts have are proportionally-spaced lining figures as the default numerals, but with OpenType features, oldstyle figures and tabular figures are also available. Folito is a modernist sans serif typeface. Its design combines typically grotesk-style letterforms, with some characters that are quite geometrically-designed. In terms of its appearance, Folito was inspired by Modernism and Industrial-Era graphic and typographic design. The family has five weights on offer, ranging from Light to Black. It is an excellent choice for use in branding, editorial, and poster design. Folito’s lowercase ‘a’ and ‘g’ are double-storied; however, single-storied alternates are available, through an OpenType feature. The fonts’ other OpenType features include 10 ligatures per font, as well as alternate versions of the ‘G’ and ’t’. The default numeral style in each of the fonts is proportional lining figures; three other styles of numbers are included, too. There are tabular lining figures, as well as numerators and denominators for typesetting fractions. The fonts’ lining figures have the same height as the uppercase letters. The lowercase’s ascenders are drawn to be slightly taller than the common height of the capital letters and numerals. Each Folito font contains ten directional-arrow glyphs, as well as six glyphs of circles, squares, and triangles. There is also a peace sign in the character set, a smiling-face emoji, a check mark, and two versions of the numbers one through nine, each enclosed inside of differently-filled circles. Folito is the work of Deni Anggara, an Indonesian designer based in Medan.
